Marketplace Overview

YuCommerce connects your product catalog to online marketplaces. You manage product data in one place and push listings to each marketplace using their native format. Currently supported: Amazon and Walmart.

  1. Connect — Enter your seller credentials in Settings for each marketplace
  2. Set up — Choose a product type for each product on the marketplace setup page
  3. Configure — Fill in marketplace-specific attributes using dynamic forms
  4. Submit — Push listings to the marketplace; status updates automatically

Each product’s edit page shows a card per marketplace with the current state:

StateWhat you see
Not connectedLink to connect in Settings
Connected, not set upLink to the setup page
Set upStatus summary (e.g., “5 Active, 1 Error”) with link to listings

Standalone — Products without variations create a single listing.

Variation families — Products with variations (e.g., Size, Color) create a parent listing plus one child listing per SKU. The parent groups the children together on the marketplace.

Each marketplace and product type has different required attributes. YuCommerce fetches the marketplace’s schema for your chosen product type and generates a dynamic form. Fields, validation rules, and options update automatically when the marketplace changes their requirements.

  • Listings are managed from the product edit page (product-scoped, not standalone)
  • Unsaved changes show a floating action bar with Save/Discard
  • Switching between listings prompts to discard unsaved changes
  • Error indicators show on the side navigation
  • Each product can only be set up once per marketplace
  • Marketplace schemas are cached for 24 hours — newly added marketplace fields may take up to a day to appear
  • Inventory and pricing sync is one-way (YuCommerce → marketplace)
